Kung Food - Classic Atari Lynx Retro Video Game - Fun Action-Packed Adventure for Gaming Enthusiasts | Perfect for Nostalgic Gamers & Collectors

In the world of retro gaming, I see Kung Food get brutalized for bad gameplay, bad controls, and just general awfulness. I really don't see it. It does have some flaws, but I think it is a pretty fun beat-em-up. And who doesn't want to play a game where vegetables beat each other up? As far as the controls, there is an issue of having to be exactly on the same level as an enemy or your hits won't land. It can be frustrating, but I didn't find it that difficult to get used to. The game has pretty good graphics and sound for Lynx standards and while it does essentially come down to "walk right, beat up everything," it does throw a bunch of different enemies at you to keep it from getting monotonous. I guess my one big complaint is the the difficulty ramps up too fast. By the second level, they game is already very difficult. But that's how the early 90's were. None of those "press A to win" stuff for today's feeble gamers. Of course your family or neighbors may become alarmed when they hear you yelling an swearing at carrots.
