Finally, a fun, yet rational, message for children that the food they eat matters, and that corporate advertisements are designed to trick them into eating junk! Our kids need a strong message that real food leads to health, and sugary, junk food leads to disease, and here it is, Huzzah!"— Ken D. Berry, MD, author of Lies My Doctor Told Me: Medical Myths That Can Harm Your Health"The Fox Family Food Fight artfully combines humor, education, and heartwarming moments in a delightful children's tale that teaches the importance of a natural diet and the perils of processed foods. Through Freddy's courageous journey, children are inspired to make healthier choices and understand the impact of their dietary choices on their health and well-being. This book is perfect for parents wanting to plant the seeds of healthy living in their children's hearts.”— Danielle Hamilton, FNTPdaniellehamiltonhealth.com“Teaching our children to eat real, whole foods is an essential step in addressing the epidemic of chronic lifestyle-related diseases. The Fox Family addresses this important topic in a fun and beautifully animated children’s book!” — Christopher M. Palmer, MD, author of Brain Energy and assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School“In this adorable, engaging story, The Fox Family teaches your children how processed food is making them sick — and how they can get healthy. This is a charming tale with a powerful message that all generations should hear.” — Nina Teicholz, journalist and author of The Big Fat Surprise, founder of the Nutrition Coalition."Providing a path for our children to achieve metabolic health through lifestyle changes is best done if we can engage them at a very young age and through their imagination. To overcome the many barriers that have limited our ability to get the message out that “food is medicine,” we’ll also need to reach the young. A story, when repeated, will likely inspire their friends, siblings, and parents to question what they are eating, hopefully culminating in more thoughtful decision making around the food they choose to put in their mouths.Thank you, Michelle, for engaging our children, our most precious commodity, and giving them access to this valuable information.”— Tony Hampton, MD, MBA, MS-HNFM, ABOM, CPE, author of Fix Your Diet, Fix Your Diabetes
What a fun and exciting children’s book. I’ve always believed that it’s important to teach our kids early what it means to eat real food. Love the Fredy’s favorite foods list at the end, sure to give your littles encouragement to eat some healthy foods. Highly recommend this book for all age groups. The illustrations are great, the pages are nice and not thin. Don’t hesitate just buy it, you won’t regret it.
