I bought these bowls when we stopped keeping our dog in a kennel during the day. I wanted something that would look cuter than two bowls sitting on the floor. Our dog also likes to flip her food bowl over when she doesn’t want the food or when she was done eating she flips it over. This bowl solved this problem. She scoots it around a little but not enough to spill the water. I added a picture of her old bowl vs this one. Even the ‘large’ size I ordered is much smaller than what we were using. We feed her 2 cups of food at a time and it fits fine but we do have to refill her water bowl much more frequently. Our dog is about 45 lbs and I consider her a medium sized dog. Everything is easy to clean and the gray silicone does help keep her water drips off the floor.Helps tremendously with my cat who likes to play in her water bowl and drag it across the room!Every thing about is a good quality.It's not super heavy, so getting good friction to help keep it in place was needed.It would discourage me from buying again though.Easy cleaning. Although the bowl fit a little snug, but could be a good or undesirable thing. My dog is not happy because he can't pick it up and dump it at my feet when hungry.My new pup needed a bigger bowl plus needed something he couldn't knock over and dump on the floor and this product has worked perfect for us! Would definitely recommendThis is my 4th product from this company for my dog. The silicone mat and the silicone bowl holder with metal bowls are great. I have both at each of my houses and they stop my dog from pushing them around the wood floor and tile floor and they have provided great protection from water spills too.I had ordered one from some other company by mistake, it arrived and it was thin and junk and I returned it. This company product is by far superior than the others.Absolutely love these bowls for my dog, the only issue I have is the rubber being so flimsy that when I pick it up I usually drop a ton of water on the floor that the mat caught from my dog drinking water. Overall I would rate it 4/5 because that is the only issue I have.These are really nice, they keep our robot vacuum from slamming in to the food and water bowls and spilling them everywhere, they've also been pretty good at minimizing the mess when the pups eat ... well except that our little shiba likes to take a mouthful of food out on the carpet to eat it... but that's not the food bowls fault!Easy to clean but does get gross with the water from the dog drinking. You need both hands to remove the bowls; not convenient for an animal that drinks a lot. Cute design but not for us.I bought this for my Shepherd who has a tendency to flip his water bowl. He easily pulled them out and chewed up the rubber mat. This might work for a small dog but nothing with real teeth...The bowls easily come out of the base for cleaning and the dog can’t tip over them when in the base and the dog can’t easily move the base around either. Our dog is a 20lb mini golden doodle and the bowl size was just right. A full meal fills about 2/3 of the bowl.My dogs modicum/large dog. 12kg. Good size bowl for her meal plan. Dog who spills so much when eating and drinking. This catches all. Keeps the floor clean and dry. Easy to clean, light but doesn’t get pushed around. Two thumbs up.The design keeps the two stainless steel bowls from sliding around as our pup eats and any mess is contained on the built in mat with raised border. I would recommend this product.Keeps the feeding spot clean!
