Oxbow Hamster & Gerbil Food - Natural 1lb for Small Pets

My hamster wasn’t liking her old food anymore and this got her to eat more! Be advised though that it might cause more crumbs than other foodsIt's one of the best rat foods out there and my guys love it!My vet recommended this for my Syrian hamster. Of course, hamsters are a little fickle. She liked it for a long time, but she seems to not prefer it as much now. Could be because I have been feeding her some spinach that she inhales like mad! She loves that stuff. I tell her she has to eat the Ox Bow food, also. Sometimes she listens; other times she doesn't. She likes to store it in her wheel, also. I'm not sure what's up with that. I always know when she's running on her wheel from the clackity-clack of the kibble-type Ox Bow food bouncing around in there. I'm still trying to get her to keep on eating this, though. She LOVED it when the vet gave her some, so I bought it and keep buying it. I love that it's good for her.A little bit expensiveI love knowing that my hamster is getting the nutrition she needs!I have been buying oxbows food and treats for awhile now.. and I have to say that non of them disappointed me ! My Syrian hamster loves oxbows food ! She wouldn’t eat any other food but these ! Would totally buy again !!In the past, I've found many of my hamsters to be picky about their food, but these Oxbow brand foods have been a favorite of my current hamster! I don't find that I'm throwing out a lot of uneaten food during routine cage cleanings as I have with other brands/food mixes. I also feel good about the product in the sense that I believe it is a nutritious dietary staple for my little one. There aren't a bunch of dyes and additives like you'll find in many other brands. Just no-nonsense ingredients. I will continue to preferentially purchase Oxbow products!Our gerbil Bruno seems to enjoy this food. I use a few different foods for a variety of nutrients and would recommend this isn’t the only food you use for your gerbil. But he really seems to like it. This food is a good 4/5!I didn’t realize how big this bag of food was going to be. Haha.. my gerbils are happy with it ~ they do eat a lot. They still need nuts, fruits and veggies added so it’s not the same thing all the time. No selection. I tried to find a good food for them that had selection but found items they would not eat or would have foods loaded with colouring. It dissuades picky eating and hoarding of all those fatty seeds. My boys have been eating this for maybe two years or almost that and I just love it.Awesome hamster food. I have been buying this for my lil guy for nearly two years now. Best hamster food for a long healthy life as it prevents selective eating which ensures proper nutrition.My hamster friend seemed to love eating and hiding these in her favourite spots. She would even go to the air tight container that I stored it in because she knew that's where it came from.
