OK FOR ME any flaws and all. Needed new UTILITY KITCHEN KNIFE for prepping my dogs food.Luke all cheap as well as very expensive knives I've used, all FAILED TO KEEP ME FROM LOSING IT SOMEWHERE IN KITCHEN.MAYBE (hope at least) bright colors will help my my pretty close to 100% losing things.But had bright colored cheap knife sets before and finally all now lost, hence this "lowest price" number one search factor, not all that sharp, but able to use to prep my dogs meat (human grade ground turkey from human grocery stores. Not as expensive as you think.. And way safer than commercial dog food which has had a problem killing dogs over the years due to dog food companyies only following non human grade food)I have a HUGE American Pit Bull Terrier (not a pit bull that people illegally use in dog fighting while they wait on earth for their eternity in hell)My dog is oveg 16 years old (was a rescue so not sure of exact age)But hip displacia is taking a toll, he has and remains otherwise still healthy. I think it's the human FDA standards for food safety.Likewise I feel these very inexpensive (cheap knives.. After use.. Are good enough for using with my precious dog food prep.I was always needing a knife to cut up food at a restaurant, or food that I brought to feed but didn't have time to prepare into little bites. This knife set is perfect because the cover locks in place VERY WELL - it would be hard for a small toddler to get the cover off themselves, which is a good thing!I keep one in the car, one in the diaper bag, one in my purse, one on our boat. Highly recommend buying!I have used these for years in the kitchen and camping. They dont seem to clean well in the dishwasher.I have two small paring knives, one high quality and the other medium quality, but I found that I was always using them up. I got this affordable set up 4 knives with cases and they're great! The cases are better than the ones I bought for my high-end knives since these snap on essentially and the others can slide off more easily. So you can throw them in a picnic bag or what have you. The tip of one of my did break off, just the tiniest bit of the tip, and I don't know what I was doing when that happened so I can't say if it was user abuse or a flaw in the product since I didn't notice it when it happened, just later. I would definitely recommend these! And the color coding is helpful, I only ever use the red one for things like chicken and meat.I purchased this set after using my Mom’s and saw how well they work for everyday use. I love the safety covers on them! My only issue is that they work a little TOO well, they are so sharp that in my owning the set for a few months I’ve sliced through both of my thumbs while doing food prep ( peeling vegetable, etc) Maybe I’m used to a duller knife or something but I find them extremely sharp! Just be extra cautious when using these, but a great deal.Color coding is helpful when preparing different foods, and it is dishwasher safe!My daughters and I always choose these knives for food prep. They are lightweight, balanced and VERY sharp. Great for everything from slicing tomatoes to trimming meats.overall very happy with these knives! all of my paring knives went MIA when i moved, so these are really a lifesaver after a month and a half without them! i like that the sheaths have a hole at the bottom so water drains out when you wash them instead of getting caught inside and rusting the blades. be careful, though: they are very sharp! my clumsy self cut my finger open the first time i used one ｡(*^▽^*)ゞ great value for some great kitchen toolsThinner than the last one I had but still suitable for chopping vegetablesRidiculously this was sent folded up so of course they are all bent and split (see photos). The product description described them as 1 mm thick.
