The fact that it didn't come wit a protective case bafled me. Looking at the photo I didn't see one but I figured it was inside and that they wanted to show off the actual thermometer but now I have to walk around with a nettle sticking out waiting to get hurt myself or someone esle. It took too long to actually start working in the first place, I had to replace the battery on too of either I have to hold the back piece of wrap heavy tape on it to hold it tightly just so it cold actually turn on and stay on while in use. If I would have kept the box I would have sent it back a loooonnnggg time ago but I needed something to use the day I got it, but I later went to store and purchased a better one. More expensive but it works and it's also pink, which I love. I was cheated buying this product
